Mt. Everest is the Highest mountain of Nepal as well as  the highest mountain of the World. It has wildly represented to introduce Nepal with the world. sagarmatha (mt. Everest) is a great pride of  Nepal. It is a glory of Nation. It is a very popular trekking destination of Nepal. Since then founding of Everest and the route to go; the first climb of the Everest caught so much attraction and interest of people around the world to travel there. Sometimes it becomes a dreams of life of people to get to the Everest and see it by closely.
Because of the highest peak of the world it has been  the dream of many to step on Everest. The name of the Everest was given suggested by a British Surveyor of the Everest it name after sir George Everest who also was a welsh surveyor of the Everest. His predecessor as surveyor General of India. That is how the name was found as Mt. Everest. There are many different Trek in Everest region so they are: Everest Base Camp Trek, Gokyo Ri Trek, Everest 3 Pass Trek and so on.

Everest Base Camp Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding
Fly to Lukla at 2’860m from kathmandu. It is perfectly beautiful flight over the magnificent natural landscape. Sometimes lukla also could seem not convenient because of flying to high altitude and every single minute of changing the weather. As the itinerary made as long we get in lukla we walk to phakding which is 3 hrs walk from lukla and over night in phakding.

Day 02:  Trek to Namche
Today heading to Namche at the altitude 3’440m. It is not that difficult walk to namche. After breakfast at around 7am in phakding then can start relax walk. About of 4 hrs walk will get in namche for the night.

Day 03: Trek to Tengboche 
Easy walk to tengboche at 3’860m. It is quiet straight way. The views of the mountains are naturally amazing. Thamserku 6’623m, Everest 8’848m, Pumori 7’161m, Lhotse 8’516m, are the few to be named and many other can be seen.

Day 04: Trek to Dingboche 
The walking trai today to dingboche at 4’410m slightly goes downhill and enters a small valley passing by pangboche. A few suspension have in use to cross the rivers along the way.

Day 05: Trek to Lobuche
The trek today to Lobuche at 4’940m and on the  top ridge have filled with the prayers flag and stones which are memorial shrines of those who lost their lives in Everest. We find ourselves facing several  beautiful views and peaks. Overnight at Lobuche.

Day 06: Trek to Gorak Shep 
There are lots of meandering on rough terrain. as we reach base camp, we enjoy the incredible view of everest. The Everest base camp is stunningly beautiful. We can enjoy amazing view of Nuptse, Khumbutse and Pumori as the major view from here. After soaking in the beauty of everest we back to gorak shep and here we stay tonight.

Day 07: Trek to Kalapathar  and  Pheriche
Today we go up to Kalapathar at 5’560m early morning. Fairly step trail but comfortable. While going up we can see Khumbutse and Changtse. The view from the kalapathar makes you feel that you are the luckiest with the highest peak on earth the mt. everest also been standing just in from of you. So, spending a while  here we get down to the hotel and have lunch then we descend to pheriche 4’288m for the night.

Day 08: Trek to Namche
We descend 2’000m today and walk lots of ups and downs. We walk through field way as well the forest, and cross the suspension bridge over the dudh koshi river. While walking down through the pine forest we might get the chance to see the spotted mountain goats, pheasants and various wild animals and birds. today our night once again in namche bazaar.

Day 09: Trek Back Namche to Lukla
Today the downhill trek to lukla is relatively long. after breakfast in namche, we get down and of about 3 hrs walk we get in phakding where we have the lunch and some rest. Again we start walking so in about another 3 hrs we get in our final camp of the EBC trek here in Lukla. Anytime tomorrow we fly to Kathmandu.

Day 10: Fly Lukla to Kathmandu
We fly to Kathmandu anytime today.

12 days in the mountains which includes accommodation and 3 meals a day.
3 nights of accommodation in city Kathmandu  with breakfast.
All transportation including Airport pick up and drop off.

trekking permit and a Tourist Information Management System (TIMS) Card.
Government-licensed, English speaking guide.
Porter service (one porter for every two people).
All government and local taxes.

Nepal entry visa at Immigration at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA)
Trekking gear rental like sleeping bags, down jackets, trekking poles, etc.

Everest Base Camp Detail Itinerary 

Day 01: Fly KTM To Lukla And Trek To Phakding
Fly to Lukla 2’860m Tenzing-Hillary Airport from Kathnandu, it is one of the p perfectly beautiful flight over the magnificent natural landscape. Sometime time Lukla flight seems not convenient just because of flying to high altitude place and every minutes of changing the weather. And until we possible and as itinerary made today’s camp for the night will be in Phakding which is 3Hrs walk from the Lukla.

Day 02: Trek To Namche
Today heading up to the Namche at the altitude 3’410m. It is not that difficult walking to the namche. After the breakfast at around 7AM in the pakding then can stark walking relaxing. About a 4hrs walking will get to Namche.

Day 03 Acclimatization Day in Namche

Today let’s have it as the relaxing day. And looking around the views from head of the namche to Everest region the magnificent view of the rang as well  just to be comfortable with the high altitude and, today it could be a good day to have as acclimatization day.

Day 04: Trek To Tengboche
It is much easier day as Namche to Tengboche 3’860m. It’s quiet straight way.
the outstanding views of Mountains are so naturally amazing.  Thamserku 6’623m, Everest 8’848m, Pumori 7’161m, Lhotse 8’516m and many can easily visible.  The Dhudkosi river bank and the dense forest of Sagarmatha national park is preciously gives you feeling that you are in real nature.

Day 05: Trek To Dingboche 4’410m
The trekking trail to Dingboche 4’410m is slightly goes downhill and enters the small valley passing by Pangboche. A few suspension bridges have been in use to cross the river along the way in the trek today.

Day 06: Trek to Lobuche (4,940m)
Trek to the Lobuche 4’940m the top of the ridge is filled with prayer flags and stones which are memorial shrines for climbers who lost their lives on Mt. Everest. we find ourselves facing several great peaks . Overnight at Lobuche.

Day 07: Trek to Gorakshep (5,170m)
There is also a lot of meandering on rough terrains. As we reach the base camp, we enjoy the incredible melt patterns and admire the gently rounded ice towers on the upper part of the Khumbu glacier. The Everest Base Camp is stunningly beautiful. We can enjoy amazing views of Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori mountains from the base camp. After soaking in the beauty, we walk back towards Gorak Shep where we spend the night. Overnight in Gorak Shep.

Day 08: Trek Gorakshep  to Kalapattar (5,545m) to  Pheriche (4288)
We wake up early for the walk up to Kala Patthar. It is dark outside with cold temperature and
cold winds.  Fairly steep trail at a comfortable pace. As we are climbing up the hill we can see Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse mountains. The view from the summit is just beautiful. The highest  mountain of Earth the Everest also been standing right in front of you.So, spending a while on the Kala Patthar, we walk back to Gorak Shep.  will have lunch the hotel then descend to Pheriche to spend the night.

Day 09:  Pheriche to Namche ( 3440m)
We descend 2,000 feet in elevation today and walk ups and downs. We walk through the field way as well the rhododendron forest, Himalayan juniper trees and cross the bridge over the Dudhkoshi river. We walk down through pine forest and it could be a chance to see spotted mountain goats, pheasants and various wild animals and birds.  Our camp today is in Namche Bazaar.

Day 10 – Namche to  Lukla (2’860m)
The downhill trek today to lukla is relatively bit long comparing to other days on the trek. After having breakfast in Namche, of around 3hrs walk down to the Phakding  through the pine forest and  Dudhkoshi river bank and will have lunch here in Phakdng and have some rest. We again continue the walk and now about another 3hrs walk we get to our last camp of our EBC Trek here in Lukla. Tomorrow anytime we are flying to Kathmandu.

 Day 11 – Lukla – Kathmandu
We are flying to Kathmandu anytime today
